A young panda sitting with its head slightly tilted, painted in a quiet palette: soft greys and violet where the black fur would be, a touch of green and blue in the shadows, and the white left as white paper. The eye patches and nose are the only dense black. A few splashes and a couple of drips keep it loose. It is the calmer of my two panda paintings; the colourful panda is the one in every colour. This one suits nurseries and quiet rooms.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.
