Price range: 34,00 € through 1500,00 €
An American black bear walking towards you across the sheet, painted in a landscape format so there is room for the whole animal. The black coat is built from violet, ultramarine, magenta and turquoise poured into each other wet, with yellow and orange blooms behind it and a few drips under the belly. The pale muzzle and the two small eyes are the only quiet places. There is also a blue black bear, a portrait of the same species painted entirely in blues.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.
