Price range: 34,00 € through 1500,00 €
A narwhal swimming up and to the right, with the long spiral tusk drawn in a single thin line across the top of the sheet. The body is violet, cobalt and lilac poured together wet with white speckles, and there are yellow, pink and blue washes and splashes behind it, dripping down. It is a landscape format and a favourite for children who have just discovered that the unicorn of the sea is real.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.
