Three Butterflies Art Print, Signed Limited Edition Watercolor

Three butterflies stacked down the sheet: a purple one with pink spots at the top, an orange and blue one in the middle, and a pale blue one with black spots at the bottom. Each is drawn in a fine line over the wash, and the whole group sits in a lilac haze that drips down the right side. It is a portrait format and one of my most popular prints for a bedroom. The blue and red butterflies and the colourful butterfly are the other two.

Why it is a limited edition

Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.

• Small sizes ship flat in rigid cardboard, large sizes rolled in a hard tube, worldwide with tracking
