A Goldendoodle looking at you from under its curly fringe, with dark eyes and a big black nose. The apricot coat is painted in gold, orange and peach with violet and cobalt in the ears, and the curls are drawn in short dry strokes. The chest spreads into yellow and pink blooms. Turquoise marks behind the head. It is a portrait format, and it also suits a Labradoodle or a Cockapoo of the same colour.
The original watercolor painting is listed separately: see the original Goldendoodle painting.
Why it is a limited edition
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
