A fawn Frenchie puppy sitting square with the whole body on the sheet, the big bat ears up and the dark mask on the muzzle. The coat is painted in cream and peach with an orange outline, the mask in violet and grey, and behind it are turquoise and lilac washes with splatter. It is a portrait format; the boy in the photo is holding the 16 x 20 in size. The black French bulldog puppy is its dark twin, and the fawn French bulldog is the adult.
Why it is a limited edition
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
