A black Frenchie puppy, front paws planted, ears up, head tilted the way they do when they hear their name. I painted the black coat in blues, from navy to turquoise, with the white paper showing through on the chest and muzzle, and a few blue splashes behind it. The eyes are brown and wet. There is an adult black French bulldog in the shop as well, painted in purples; this is the puppy, and it is the one people buy for a nursery or for the dog’s own first birthday.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

This print is exactly what I was looking for. My daughter recently made a sweet French Bulldog part of her family. We all love little Maiva. She has the most wonderful personality, and as soon as I saw this print, it reminded me of her. The colours are vibrant and that head tilt is a match to her’s. This is the perfect gift for a French Bulldog lover.
Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. I would definitely recommend this shop and seller

Purchased the Frenchie for older child months ago and younger child has been begging for her own ever since. Great quality print, fast shipping, and a small bonus print (different) added by seller. Second purchase from this seller and will be back for more!
