A Dogue de Bordeaux looking at you with the heavy wrinkled face and the amber eyes of the breed. The coat is orange and rust laid wet, with violet in the jowls and under the chin, and the whole lower half runs off in drips, with yellow and brown splashes around it. It is a portrait format. More than one owner has told me it looks exactly like their dog.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

I am absolutely blown away by this print! I bought it because it looked exactly like my DDB and when it arrived I was not disappointed, it is stunning. The colours are amazing and it is really excellent quality, highly recommended. I also appreciated the little extra print included ( which is now framed and hanging in the kitchen) !
