Price range: 34,00 € through 1500,00 €
A brown bear walking straight at you, head low, painted in the colours a bear actually has: umber, ochre, a warm red-brown on the forehead, blue-black in the chest and legs. The fur is laid on in short strokes over a wet base, with the paper left bare for the light on the muzzle, and the paws end in a few drips and splashes. It is the most naturalistic of my bears and a portrait format. The grizzly is the bright orange and teal one.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

Incredible quality! I bought it as a gift and the recipient loves it. Shipped safely from Bulgaria to the midwest US in surprisingly good time given the worldwide pandemic-related delays.
