A beaver in profile, walking left with its flat tail behind it, painted in a landscape format. The coat is brown and burnt orange with magenta and cobalt poured into the back, the tail is slate grey with the scales drawn in, and there are turquoise and lilac washes and drips underneath. The small eye and the orange teeth are the details. It is one of my most reviewed river animals and goes well with the otter.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

If you think the images look good on the screen, you should see the actual prints – absolutely beautiful!
Im Canadian who’s relocated to Australia and love Slaveika’s creations! They bring a bit of Canada, “down under”

I know I am not the first to say this, but my goodness, this was even more beautiful and vibrant in person than online (and it looked amazing online). Highly recommend this artist!! I got a raccoon and the beaver. There was also a smaller owl included as a bonus with the order, and I am framing that, too.
