A vizsla’s coat is one colour, a rusty gold, and the whole painting is about how many colours hide inside it: orange, pink, violet in the ear, a touch of blue under the throat. This one is a head in profile, nose up, the way a vizsla stands when it has caught a scent. The background is a few free splashes of yellow and lavender so the dog stays the subject. I have painted the breed twice; this is the profile, and there is also a sitting vizsla.
The original watercolor painting is listed separately: see the original vizsla painting.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

Thank you so much. Rapid shipping first off and second my good friend loved it. Her Vizsla is sick and will need to cross the rainbow bridge soon. I wanted her to have this while she’s still alive. Also thanks a bunch for the pineapple mini you included for free. Totally smitten with it.

Absolutely beautiful and just as shown. Shipping as INCREDIBLY fast! I placed several orders the same day from US venders and those have (yet to ship) or in route…this came from Europe faster than orders I placed from vendors in my home state
