A leatherback seen from above, swimming right, the biggest turtle alive and the only one without a hard shell. I painted the ridged back in violet, indigo and teal with the white spots of the real animal dotted over it, the front flippers in orange and turquoise, and a cloud of yellow, pink and blue splashes around it. It is a landscape format. My blue sea turtle and purple sea turtle are the hard-shelled cousins.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

Beautiful! I ordered 4 prints. They are on lovely paper, and the pictures do not do justice to how vibrant the colors are. And they shipped and arrived quickly. Thank you!!
