A raccoon washes its food not to clean it but to feel it, because its paws are far more sensitive wet. I painted the mask and the ringed tail in greys and umber with the eyes left bright, and the fur as a soft wash that runs out into the paper. A print for a child’s room, a cabin, or a kitchen where things go missing.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

I love my colorful coon top! I like the relaxed fit of the unisex size option and I got a medium. I’m 5′ 6″, 148#, 41″ hip, 38″ bust. Also comes tightly and neatly folded protected in plastic in a stiff cardboard package (so no lumpy, sad, gouged baggie stuffed in your mailbox) – good packaging and presentation, especially if a gift.
I’m a repeat customer – this is my 3rd top! Highly recommend.
