Price range: 34,00 € through 1500,00 €
An octopus has three hearts, blue blood and a separate brain in each arm, and it still manages to look relaxed. I painted this one in reds and violets with the suckers dropped in while the paper was wet, so each one has a soft halo. It is the painting people have bought most often from me, for bathrooms, nurseries and, more than once, for a dentist’s waiting room.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.
