The horns of a great horned owl are feathers, not ears, and it can turn its head most of the way round to watch you. I painted it front-on with the yellow eyes done last, so they look back. On the shirt the painting keeps its soft edges and the white of the paper around it.
How the shirt is made
- Printed in my own studio on an Epson direct-to-garment printer, with water-based inks that bond with the cotton. The print is soft to the touch, not a plastic layer.
