The fennec is the smallest fox and has the largest ears, which it uses to lose heat in the Sahara and to hear beetles under the sand. I painted the ears almost transparent, with the light coming through them, and kept the sand-coloured fur as a few loose washes. On the shirt it reads as a small, alert face looking straight at whoever is in front of you.
How the shirt is made
- Printed in my own studio on an Epson direct-to-garment printer, with water-based inks that bond with the cotton
- Premium 100% cotton, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified
- Women’s slim fit S to XL, unisex XS to XXL, kids 2 to 12 years, baby bodysuits 0 to 12 months
- Size chart in the gallery. Between two sizes, take the larger.
Care
Wash inside out at 30 °C, no bleach, no tumble dryer, iron inside out.
Made to order and shipped worldwide with tracking. The painting also exists as a signed limited edition print among my fox prints.
