A black bear is a good climber and a shy animal, and this one is painted the way you usually see one, half turned, about to go. The coat is one dark wash with the lights lifted out while damp. On the shirt the painting keeps its soft edges and the white of the paper around it.
How the shirt is made
- Printed in my own studio on an Epson direct-to-garment printer, with water-based inks that bond with the cotton. The print is soft to the touch, not a plastic layer.

Wash inside out at 30 °C, no bleach, no tumble dryer, iron inside out.
