A black bear is a good climber and a shy animal, and this one is painted the way you usually see one, half turned, about to go. The coat is one dark wash with the lights lifted out while damp. Around the mug it comes back to you whichever way you hold the cup.
About the mug
- 11 oz white ceramic mug, the standard size for a proper coffee
- Heat-pressed by hand in my studio with HD sublimation inks. The image is in the glaze, not on it, so it does not scratch or peel
- Portrait paintings are printed three times around the mug, landscape paintings twice, so the design shows whichever way you hold it
- Microwave and dishwasher safe, for hot and cold drinks
Shipping
Made to order in 1 to 2 working days, wrapped and shipped worldwide in a crush-proof box with tracking.
The same painting hangs on walls as a signed limited edition print.
