This is a landscape painting, wider than it is tall, because a hammerhead is all length. The shark swims left to right through a cloud of turquoise, lilac and lemon splashes, head turned so you see the eye at the end of the hammer. The body is built in blues layered wet on wet, with white paper left for the belly. It is the brightest of my shark paintings and the one people choose for a child’s room; the great white shark is the darker, more serious one.
Each print is made in an edition of 150, and I sign and number every copy in pencil under the image. The edition is small so that every copy can be made properly: the file is scanned from the painting itself, printed on museum-quality cotton paper with archival pigment inks, compared with the original in daylight and corrected until the colours match, and only then signed. When the last copy is sold, the edition closes for good.
The frame is not included unless the option says Framed Canvas. Not sure which size fits your wall? Write to me with the width of the furniture under it and I will suggest one. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.

Purchased 3 prints, great white shark, tiger shark & hammerhead shark. Arrived very quickly to the UK from Bulgaria & the packaging was very robust & clearly stamped with “do not bend”. High quality prints on high quality paper. My mother will be very happy on her 50th birthday! Unfortunately I can’t post a picture as they are gift wrapped but I can assure anyone who wants to purchase these prints, do not hesitate! Support artists rather than going down to your local supermarket, you won’t be disappointed!! 😁 🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈

The prints were shipped quickly, and arrived undamaged because they were well-packaged. I just had to trim them a bit to fit into 8×10 frames.
