The golden-crowned flying fox is a bat with a wingspan wider than a door and a fox’s face under a cap of orange fur. I painted it hanging, wings folded, in oranges and dark browns, and the upside-down face is what people notice first on the mug.
About the mug
- 11 oz white ceramic mug, the standard size for a proper coffee
- Heat-pressed by hand in my studio with HD sublimation inks. The image is in the glaze, not on it, so it does not scratch or peel
- Portrait paintings are printed three times around the mug, landscape paintings twice, so the design shows whichever way you hold it
- Microwave and dishwasher safe, for hot and cold drinks
Shipping
Made to order in 1 to 2 working days, wrapped and shipped worldwide in a crush-proof box with tracking.
The same painting hangs on walls as a signed limited edition print.
